New works by Anne Rigney to be displayed in August

Midlands based artist Anne Rigney will be showing a new body of work at The Gallery at the Roscommon Arts Centre, as part of the centre’s celebration of local artists. The exhibition will open on Wednesday August 3 and run until Thursday August 11.

Choral Academy returns to Roscommon this July

The Choral Academy was founded in 2005 by Maley School of Music director Jim Maley. Swimming with my Mother is a heartfelt and unsentimental journey into the dancing and swimming lives of David and Madge. Shared pasts intertwine and build gently like a rising tide. Life stories are told with humour to the sultry tones of Nat King Cole.
